Upon arriving to Canada from Albania, Perparim Kapllani knew he had only two options: either go back to school, or start his own business. After working in various pizza places around the city, Perparim reflects, “I thought, I’m getting really good at this so I decided to open up my own business”. Perparim knew he could make amazing pizzas, but he didn’t know the recipe for launching a business. That’s when TBDC was able to step in and teach Perparim step-by-step how to create a business plan, and how to run a successful business. Fast forward to today, and Perparim is not only serving delicious food at Albany Pizza since 2008, but is also a passionate writer who has published two books and one play.
